In the K-5 Early Intervention Program, each participating school is assigned one Family Crisis Therapist. Family Crisis Therapists work with identified children (and their families) whose behavior impedes their learning process and others. Interventions help families, including addressing behaviors to help with skill building. This helps the parent advocate children’s issues which can keep the entire family out of more costly services. As an integral part of the school team, it is vital that the position be filled as soon as possible, given that the school year has started.
Please see Additional Posting Information for important details regarding this position.
