The Delaware Department of Technology & Information Network Director position is responsible for the State of Delaware Network which supports 180,000 total users. This includes core routing and switching for all of the Executive, Legislative, Judicial and K12 communities within Delaware. Key responsibilities include the ability to manage contracts and vendor relationships, support daily tickets, and maintenance while guiding the team and developing strategic plans to improve redundancy and sustainability. This includes our Enterprise Voice solution as well as our Data Center team. The principle responsibilities of the Director are to provide overall strategic, technical and operational leadership of the team, including the introduction and management of leading tools and technologies.
The Director must be capable of comfortably engaging with technical resources and “C” level executives across State Government. This position requires a highly organized, self-motivated, detailed oriented problem solver and leader.
