This position is a summer leadership position for applicants at least 21 years of age with the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Parks and Recreation. The person selected for this position will work primarily out of the YCC office in Dover assisting the Program Manager in all aspects of coordinating and maintaining the 2020 summer program. Specifically, this position will coordinate Monday Education Days, transportation, and will be the liaison for Field YCC Teams. All positions are seasonal positions working 28 hours per week.
The mission of the Delaware State Parks YCC is to engage youth in important conservation and park projects while providing learning that fosters teamwork, self-esteem, social responsibility and respect for the environment.

** This is an environmental stewardship summer job, not a summer camp experience; the participants will work hard, sometimes in difficult conditions including mud, hot sun, and mosquitoes and flies.
