Summary StatementA class incumbent provides technical assistance and support assigned Employment and Training manpower programs to operational personnel to ensure compliance with applicable governmental regulations, resulting in the placement of an optimum number of people into gainful employment.
Nature and ScopeA class incumbent performs with direction from an administrative superior and is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the implementation of assigned employment and training programs. The incumbent has frequent contact with operational personnel to: provide and interpret new and revised program regulations and guidelines and give technical guidance in unusual and exceptional cases or problem situations. The incumbent also has contact with special interest groups, the business community, and government representatives to provide information, obtain support, and resolve problems. The incumbent provides management with information and direction to assist in ensuring the effective delivery of employment and training services.
