Employees in this class plan, coordinate, and supervise high-volume office support operations and related processes, procedures, and staff. Work involves supervising, training, and motivating employees, monitoring workflow, and resolving issues to optimize the quality and effectiveness of agency-specific products or services, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Nature and Scope
A Production Supervisor reviews workloads, schedules, assignments, status of on-going work, and available staff/resources to maximize quality and effectiveness of high-volume office support operations such as processing child support or revenue. Work includes supervising and motivating a diverse team, ensuring that all staff are adequately trained, supported, and aligned with the organization's objectives. In addition to planning, organizing, and distributing the workload, an employee reviews processes and procedures and makes recommendations for improvement. An employee also prepares, reviews, verifies, and distributes a variety of production records and reports for administrative use.
