The State of Connecticut, Department of Public Health (DPH) is hiring! We are seeking a qualified individual for the position of Health Program Supervisor. This Health Program Supervisor position will work in Department of Public Health's Facility Licensing and Investigations Section (FLIS).
The Health Program Supervisor performs onsite inspections of all licensed and/or certified laboratories and is responsible for the quality assurance review and oversight in making compliance decisions as a result of inspection activities. The Health Program Supervisor directs staff operations of programs, coordinates, plans and manages quality assurance activities to ensure State and Federal laws and regulations are met, provides staff training and assistance, determines priorities and plans unit work, and establishes and maintains unit procedures.
This Health Program Supervisor position requires onsite survey visits to laboratories.

One (1) year of the General Experience must have been at the advanced working level in health care program administration, a health systems agency or other health care organization in at least one of the following areas:
1. grant writing or monitoring;
2. formal program planning, development, management or evaluation;
3. or program consultation.
For State Employees this is interpreted at the level of Health Program Associate.
Note: A health care organization is defined as a large multi-dimensional agency with responsibility for developing health programs.
