The Department of Administrative Services – Real Estate and Construction Services Division - State Fire Marshal's Office is responsible for development and administration of the State Fire Code and the State Fire Prevention Code and assists local fire marshals, design professionals, contractors and the public with fire code related questions. The State Fire Marshal's Office also performs plan review and inspections to insure code compliance for construction of State owned buildings. In addition, the State Fire Marshal's Office also conducts Fire Code/Fire Prevention Code inspections of State property in accordance with Connecticut General Statutes.
The Department of Administrative Services - Real Estate and Construction Services Division - State Fire Marshal's Office currently has one (1) Processing Technician vacancy. This position is located in Hartford, CT and is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
This E-Licensing Processing Technician position will report directly to the State Fire Marshal.
In order to be considered for this job opening, you must be a current State of CT employee, who has permanent state status* and meet the Minimum Qualifications as listed on the job opening. You must specify your qualifications on your application.
*For employees in the classified service, permanent status is obtained after successful completion of a working test period. For employees in the unclassified service, permanent status is obtained after serving in a position for at least six months (full-time or full-time equivalent).
