The State of Connecticut, Department of Children and Families (DCF) is seeking to fill two full-time Quality Assurance/Administrative Case Review (ACR) Program Supervisors - one position will oversee Region 5, which includes the Waterbury, Torrington, and Danbury area offices and one will oversee Region 1, which includes the Norwalk and Bridgeport area offices.
This is a 40 hour per week position, operating Monday through Friday. Although located in a regional office, the QA/ACR Program Supervisor receives work assignments, direction, and supervision from the Program Director of Quality Assurance/Administrative Case Review in Central Office, which is located at 505 Hudson Street, Hartford, CT 06106. Travel to all offices within the region as well as statewide travel for meetings is required. DCF as part of a larger child welfare system, is partnering with communities and empowering families to raise resilient children who thrive. In order to accomplish this, the Department's Operations division has identified seven key results to be the operational engine of the agency, providing us with targeted, measurable outcomes that we will work to deliver.
This regionally based position has responsibility for the local level leadership, oversight, guidance, development and supervision of the QA/ACR Process and QA/ACR Social Work Supervisors on a daily basis. Responsibilities will include:
· Ongoing review and reporting of area office data, with particular attention to case planning, needs met and permanency.
· Provide some level of data analysis and lead quality improvement activities including the development of strategies and interventions to improve outcomes for children and families served by the regional offices.
· Being a key partner in the ongoing development of the case plan and ACR tool in CT Kind.
· Collaboration with agency staff at various levels and an ability to develop and maintain positive relationships.
The QA/ACR Program Supervisor will work closely with Area Office (AO) leadership and will be expected to actively participate in Regional and Area Office meetings, which includes discussion of ACR initiatives, as well as data and reports related to case practice issues as identified through administrative case reviews. This manager will also assist the region with the provision of ACR and case planning related training activities, as needed or as requested by AO leadership. This Program Supervisor will serve as a member of various committees and will be an integral part of the team to support the Department’s achievement of the seven key results.

Preference will be given to candidates who have:
· Demonstrated experience with the CFSR and PIP
· Knowledge of federal policies and the connection to agency case planning requirements
· Experience in data collection and analysis to inform quality improvement activities and planning
· Experience using Excel including the exporting of data and ability to pivot data and develop charts/graphs; some experience utilizing Excel formulas
