This position resides in our Technology Services, Development Systems Unit.

Position Details:
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Your schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. -4:30 p.m.

You will support the development and administration of the Transportation Enterprise Database (TED) which is a large program consisting of many complex data initiatives, and is a single transportation enterprise platform.
Your responsibilities include:
• Managing and leading a complex database architecture design;
• Developing complex applications and database administration;
• Performing project management duties;
• Mentoring lower level developers with standard methodologies;
• Supporting and leading the development of standards and ensuring new database structures and code meet standards for readability, reliability and performance;
• Evaluating new technology and software products to determine their feasibility and desirability of being incorporated into the existing structure.
1. College training in management information systems, computer science or information technology related area may be substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen (15) semester hours equaling six (6) months of experience to a maximum of four (4) years for a Bachelor's degree.
2. A Master's degree in management information systems, computer science or electrical engineering may be substituted for one (1) additional year of the General Experience.
We are giving preference to individuals who have demonstrated the following skills and abilities:
• Expertise with Cloud application development and technologies, .NET Framework and Web Development, Project Management techniques and principles;
• Experience using Visual Studio 2017/2019; MVC/C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript, CSS, KML;
• Experience with Microsoft Cloud Technology including SQL As A Service (SAAS) and Container Services; Azure DevOps or other repository solutions; SQL Server 2012 and above, Microsoft Project; and,
• Experience with both Agile and traditional project development methodologies; development and implementation of SharePoint solutions and experience with BI tools.
