The mission of the State of Connecticut, Department of Consumer Protection (DCP) is to ensure a fair and equitable marketplace as well as safe products and services for consumers in the industries that it regulates. DCP's Gaming Division is charged with ensuring the integrity of all gaming activities and compliance with statutes and regulations governing such activities and compliance with the Tribal/State Compacts.
The Gaming Division is currently accepting applications for part-time Lottery Drawing Officer positions to support the regulation of legalized lottery drawing activities within the State of Connecticut. The Gaming Division is charged with ensuring the integrity of lottery drawing activities and compliance with statutes and regulations governing such activities. Lottery Drawing Officers will work to ensure compliance with agency policy, procedures, and security regulations while monitoring lottery drawing activities and by providing information and assistance to licensees, the public and employees. Lottery Drawing Officers may work collaboratively with other officers within the Gaming Division in support of monitoring lottery drawing activities.
These positions are based at 450 Columbus Blvd. in Hartford, CT.
The duration of each scheduled shift will be no more than four hours. An average scheduled work week will be 20 hours.

Selected candidates must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel including to assignments during all forms of inclement weather conditions.

• Experience following a course of action based on policies and regulations
• Experience performing audits and inspections
• Experience expressing ideas in writing and in group situations
• Ability to obtain and retain "COLLECT" (Connecticut On-Line Law Enforcement Communications Teleprocessing) Certification
