The State of Connecticut, State Elections Enforcement Commission (SEEC) has the authority to investigate possible violations of the election laws, inspect campaign finance records and reports, refer evidence of violations to the Chief State's Attorney or to the Attorney General, issue advisory opinions and make recommendations to the General Assembly concerning revisions to the state's election laws. The Commission is also charged with developing and implementing an electronic campaign reporting system (eCRIS) and is now the state campaign finance filing repository for all past and present campaign finance records for party committees, political committees and candidate committees organized for state elections.
We are currently recruiting for a Fiscal Administrative Officer. This position is full-time,40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. We are located at 55 Farmington Avenue in Hartford, CT. Watch the video below to see how YOU can make an impaCT!

In a state agency, facility or institution this class is accountable for independently performing a full range of tasks in professional level fiscal and administrative functions.
1. College training may be substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen (l5) semester hours equalling one-half (l/2) year of experience to a maximum of four (4) years for a Bachelor's degree.
2. A Master's degree in public administration, business administration or accounting may be substituted for one (l) year of the Special Experience.
3. For state employees two (2) years as a Fiscal/Administrative Assistant may be substituted for the General and Special Experience.
4. For state employees two (2) years as a Purchasing Assistant may be substituted for the General and Special Experience.
