PURPOSE OF JOB CLASS (NATURE OF WORK)

In the Connecticut Technical Education and Career System this class is accountable for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language and communication disorders that hinder a student’s academic performance. 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Incumbents in this class must possess at time of appointment a Connecticut Educator Certificate – Endorsement 061, Speech and Language Pathologist.
