In the Connecticut Technical Education and Career System this class is accountable for supporting certified staff in delivering educational services and programming to students, providing individualized or small-group assistance to enhance learning, and foster student success.
Receives general supervision from a School Principal or an administrator of higher grade.
Two (2) years of college training or an Associate’s degree.
NOTE: College training is calculated on the basis of fifteen (15) semester hours equalling one-half (1/2) year of experience to a maximum of two (2) years.
A passing score on the ParaPro Assessment may be substituted for the General Experience.
