PURPOSE OF JOB CLASS (NATURE OF WORK)

In the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, Bureau of Air Management this class is accountable for acting as a working lead and/or for performing the most complex tasks in engineering studies of the effectiveness of stationary and mobile source air pollution controls involving air pollution monitoring equipment and the enforcement of air pollution regulations.

GUIDELINES FOR JOB CLASS USE

  • WORKING LEAD LEVEL: The incumbent reports to a supervisory level class and is assigned full time lead responsibilities over employees in a unit while performing unit work activities.
