Sharpening, adjusting and sterilizing clippers, scissors and other equipment;
Cleans work area;
May requisition and maintain stock of hairdressing supplies;
Performs related duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
Knowledge of and ability to apply hairdressing and cosmetology principles and techniques;
oral and written communication skills.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - GENERAL EXPERIENCE
Possession of a current license as a Hairdresser issued by the Department of Public Health.
Incumbents may be exposed to communicable diseases and to risk of injury from clients/patients.
