PURPOSE OF JOB CLASS (NATURE OF WORK)

Serves as a deputy to the Commissioner assisting in the administration of the activities of the Office of Early Childhood.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Incumbents in this class may be required to complete components of teacher preparation programs as listed in 10-145a of the Connecticut General Statutes, as amended by P.A. 14-39.

APPOINTMENT

Appointed by the Commissioner of Early Childhood in accordance with the provisions of Sections 4-8 of the Connecticut General Statutes.
