In the Office of Health Strategy, this class is accountable for assisting the Executive Director in administering the overall implementation of data driven strategies that promote equal access to high quality health care, control costs and ensure better health for the people of Connecticut.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Receives direction from the Executive Director of the Office of Health Strategy.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
Serves as chief of operations for the overall management of the Office of Health Strategy; oversees fiscal and other administrative operations, staff development and planning; acts in the capacity of Executive Director in his/her absence; performs related duties as required.
APPOINTMENT
Appointed by the Executive Director of the Office of Health Strategy in accordance with the provisions outlined in Sections 4-5 through 4-8, of the Connecticut General Statutes and Public Act 18-91.
