PURPOSE OF JOB CLASS (NATURE OF WORK)

Serves as a Deputy to the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles assisting in the administration of departmental activities.

APPOINTMENT

  • Appointed by the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles under the provisions of Sections 4-8 and 14-7 through 14-9 of the Connecticut General Statutes.
  • The Commissioner of Motor Vehicles may appoint not more than three Deputy Commissioners of Motor Vehicles.
