PURPOSE OF JOB CLASS (NATURE OF WORK)
In the Department of Administrative Services administers and directs the activities of the Division of Information Technology.
The Chief Information Officer shall be an individual knowledgeable with respect to information and telecommunication systems.
Appointed by the Commissioner of Administrative Services in accordance with the provisions of Section 4-8 of the Connecticut General Statutes.
