The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) mandates that any person who performs maintenance, service, or repair that could reasonably be expected to release class I (CFC) or class II (HCFC) substances from appliances into the atmosphere must possess a Chloro-Fluoro-Carbon (CFC) Certificate. This mandate is in place to ensure compliance with Section 608 of the Clean Air Act of 1990.
THE EXAMINATION WILL CONSIST OF THE FOLLOWING STEPS:
CANDIDATES MUST ATTAIN A QUALIFYING RATING ON EACH PORTION OF THIS EXAMINATION.
