Applicants for this position are required to submit responses to the following supplemental questions.  Your completed responses to the supplemental questionnaire will be evaluated to determine your qualifications and must be completed properly in order to be given full consideration for the next phase in the selection process. Additionally, your responses will also be evaluated and used in the selection process in order to identify the best qualified applicants.

Describe your educational background, knowledge of laws and regulations and work experience in CUPA, storm water and waste tire pollution prevention programs. Include the organization where you gained the experience, dates of employment, your title, your role and related responsibilities, and a description of your primary duties including regulatory or enforcement capacity.

Describe your work experience as a lead for an environmental program including your specific role in program planning, implementation, enhancement and accomplishment. Include how you set/monitored milestones and completed the project in a timely manner. Provide the organization where you gained the experience, dates of employment and your title/position.

Describe your work experience and certifications related to emergency response, health and safety, chemical and soil science, hydrology, industrial hygiene, engineering, environmental sampling including interpreting analytical results, above and underground storage tanks and remediation/cleanup. Describe your work experience including training certification in National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), stormwater management program (SWMP), Stormwater Multiple Application and Report Tracking System (SMARTS), stormwater permits, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and best management practices (BMPs). Provide specific examples of your leadership role in projects related to the above including working with the Water Board, the organization where you gained the experience, dates of employment and your title/position.

Describe your work experience in data management and using electronic devices. Include software/programs, devices and databases you are proficient in including the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) and how many years of experience using each in the field as an inspection tool and for maintaining accurate files/records. Describe your work experience in environmental compliance including inspection, preparing technical reports and enforcement letters such as Administrative Enforcement Order (AEOs), and relevant legal experience. Provide specific examples of your leadership role in achieving environmental compliance including experience in working with businesses and government agencies such as joint inspections, investigations and cases.
