While the eligible list created by this recruitment may be used for other locations, current vacancies are located at the Santa Rita Jail in Dublin.  Applicants are required to obtain security clearance for employment in the detention facilities.  The security clearance may consist of, but is not limited to, the following:

• Fingerprinting
• Employment Backgrounds
• Reference Checks

Do you understand that you will be required to obtain security clearance before you can be offered employment as a janitor at Alameda County's detention facilities (i.e. Santa Rita or North County Jail)?

While current vacancies are located in our Santa Rita Jail location, the eligible list may be used to fill other vacancies throughout the County.  The position of Janitor requires that you are willing and able to work all shifts and all locations.  Do you understand this requirement?
