Nature of Work

This is advanced supervisory work involving planning and managing the administration of a drug program in Montgomery County.  Duties include coordinating community corrections program activities with court personnel, treatment agencies and counselors, providing guidance and assistance to personnel involved in community corrections drug programs and researching and developing new procedures to enhance current drug program activities.  This position reports to the Community Corrections Executive Director.

Minimum Qualifications

Must have a Bachelor's Degree in counseling, criminal justice, court administration, public administration, business administration or a closely related field and must have two (2) year's work experience in Drug Court proceedings or the equivalent combination of training and experience.  Training or certification in addictions is highly desirable.

NOTE:  Qualifying education, training and experience that provide the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job will be considered.
