Nature of Work

Under general direction, films, processes, and makes duplicate copies of documents from several departments within the Probate Office.  Maintains precise records of all documentation filmed; operates photographic and processing equipment including cameras, processor, duplicating printers, splicers, viewers, and film insertion equipment; and maintains all equipment and work areas.  Packages finished products for use by the public and for mailing for other purposes.  Assists in Record Room as needed.  Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High school or GED.  Vocational training highly desirable, supplemented by course in operations and application of film processing and peripheral equipment.  One to three year's experience working with microfilm photographic/processing equipment.  Any combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.  Qualifying education, training and experience that provide the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job will be considered.
