The fundamental reason that this
job exists is to provide support to the Planning Commission and the Board of
Adjustment through zoning and development plan application review. The work
responsibilities are: processes applications for Planning Commission and Board
of Adjustment review; performs technical zoning duties; and communicates with
the developers and citizens. Employees report directly to the Assistant Land Use
Control Administrator.
Bachelor’s degree with major
course work in planning, geography, public administration or closely related
field, and two years of experience working with city zoning and/or city-wide
property development.

knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job will be considered.
