Position administers DelDOT construction projects in New Castle County, DE. Duties include interpretation of contract plans and specifications, coordination and chairing Preconstruction and Progress Meetings, reviewing and responding to Contractor requests for information or change orders, negotiating new pricing for changes to contracts, reviewing and commenting on plans in development, drafting contract related correspondence, supervising field inspection staff, coordinating with other sections of the Department, and other duties as required.

Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:

As a condition of hire, if the applicant does not possess a valid Delaware Professional Engineering License, the applicant must agree as a requirement of employment to obtain a valid Delaware Professional Engineering License within 180 days of employment.
