PURPOSE OF JOB CLASS (NATURE OF WORK)

This class is accountable for acting as a deputy to the State Treasurer; assists State Treasurer in the administration of all the functions of the Office of the State Treasurer; acts for and exercises all powers and duties of the State Treasurer in their absence.

APPOINTMENT

Appointed by the State Treasurer in accordance with the provisions of Section 3-12 of the Connecticut General Statutes.
